Apple and Pear Class have been continuing to learn about dinosaurs. In Maths, we have been learning about 2D shapes. The children have created paper and playdough dinosaurs using 2D shapes. In Literacy, we have been creating our own dinosaurs and then writing a sentence to describe what they look like using our phonic knowledge. Apple and Pear Class are very lucky as this term we have a PE coach who is teaching us PE. This week we have been learning to kick a ball with some control and accuracy. On Tuesday we listened to the Now Press Play story of 'Dinosaurs'. When we were out dino-digging with Grandma, we found a dinosaur egg. It hatched and a tiny dinosaur appeared! We went on an adventure to find its Mummy. The children thoroughly enjoyed acting out the adventure! On Wednesday the children made their own dinosaur fossils. They will be bringing them home today. Please do not let your child eat them. They have coffee, flour, sand and salt in.

Numbots & Times Tables Rockstars - We have created a Numbots and Times Tables Rock Stars account for your child to use. There will be different number activities for them to answer on the Numbots account. Please do not worry about the Times Tables Rock Stars account yet as we will be learning to count in 2's, 5's and 10's later on in the year.

Mother's Day KM Supplement - The children drew pictures of their Mummy and wrote why they are special to them. They will be appearing in the Maidstone Kent Messenger on Friday 25th March. Please don't miss it!

We hope you have a lovely weekend.
