Wow! What a term it has been. We want to say a huge well done for all your hard work and how proud we are of your attitudes towards online learning. It has been lovely to see the photos of your snow patterns, snowmen and snow unicorns.
This week we have been learning about ‘Chinese New Year’. In Maths, we have been creating repeating patterns, been addition detectives and counted money in our lucky wallets. On Friday the number 10 went for a walk in the ice and snow and fell. We had to find out how many ways he could be split up.
In Literacy, we drew the Chinese New Year zodiac animals and wrote sentences about them, found words that rhymed with red, wrote about the dragon dance and became news reporters.
In topic we spoke about our special celebrations, learnt about the importance of internet safety, created our own firework pictures and model dragons. They were incredible! Thank you parents for your continued support!
We hope you have a lovely half term break.
