Apple and Pear Class had a huge shock this week as Apple and Pear Bear went missing. We looked everywhere around the school. We looked in the classrooms, the outdoor area, the field, the playgrounds, the toilets, the pirate ship, the adventure trail and even the hall but they were nowhere to be found. Apple and Pear Class decided to draw pictures, maps and missing posters to help find their beloved teddy bears. Luckily today we found some clues which lead us to them. They were hiding in the library! The children were very glad that they found them safe and sound. In Maths, we have been continuing to learn how to compare numbers using the language: more, fewer and the same. In Literacy, we have been writing missing posters. We have tried to include capital letters, fingers spaces and full stops in our sentences. In topic we drew pictures of our favourite toys. Thank you for all the entries to the 'My First Riddle' competition. We will send them off and keep our fingers crossed for all of them to be published in the book. We will keep you posted when we hear any news.
Mother's Day KM Supplement - The children drew pictures of their Mummys and wrote why they are special to them. We sent those off this week and will be appearing in the Maidstone Kent Messenger on Friday 25th March. Please don't miss it!
We hope you have a lovely weekend.
