Apple and Pear Class have continued to learn about the story of 'We are going on a bear hunt'. In Maths we have been learning to link numerals and amounts and order numbers. In Read, Write Inc we have been learning to recognise and write 'm', 'a', 's', 'd', 't', 'i', 'n', 'p', 'g', 'o', 'c' and 'k'. We have also been using our Fred fingers to segment and blend real and nonsense words like 'gok', 'kit', 'kin' and 'cap'. In Literacy we have been learning to describe our teddy bears using adjectives. In Topic we have been making our own character puppets and character masks to help retell the story. In PE we have been continuing to learn how to travel through swishy swashy grass, a deep cold river, thick oozy mud, a big dark forest, a swirling whirling snowstorm and a narrow gloomy cave. After half term we will be learning about the 'Gruffalo'. It was lovely to virtually meet you on Tuesday and Thursday to discuss how amazing your children are. We hope you have a lovely half term and we will see you on Tuesday 2nd November.
