Another amazing week.

Well done to all of the year 6 children who sat the Kent test.

This week we have been researching food rationing during World War II. The children found out what it was, how it worked and why. They used this information to write a non-chronological report. In Maths, we have been developing our calculation skills in all 4 operations. Year 6 have been learning how to use long division, but most have found this area quite challenging, but we will continue to overcome this. In Topic we have been researching local History and finding out facts about Maidstone. In Science, we have planned an investigation and making sure it will be a fair test. We came up with our own experiments to do, and we will carry them out next week.
