End of Term 1!

So, the end of Term 1 is upon us!

A BIG well done to everyone for all your efforts throughout the term. Everyone has adjusted well to the new arrangements, and stayed securely within the Year 5/6 bubble.  We were fortunate to have such lovely weather at the start of the term to enjoy break times on the field!

Learning in the classroom has been achieved in a hard-working, collaborative atmosphere and every week I have been pleased with the learning achieved. The children have listened well during whole-class teaching and applied their understanding independently to a range of tasks.

Next term, our topic will be 'Go with the flow' linked to rivers both locally (Medway) and on an international scale - and don't worry, I will try and work a ''history" angle into a lot of what we do!!

Enjoy your break everyone, the lie-ins etc and come back fully refreshed on Monday 2nd November.

Thank you parents for assisting your children with their weekly home-learning and please if you could continue to hear them read aloud.

Regards

Mr Ramsden and Mr Bowles
