Week ending Friday 22nd October 2021

The last day of a busy, busy but enjoyable term is now upon us.

As ever, the class were fully engaged in their learning and worked well across a range of subjects and tasks including:

- a HOT WRITE in literacy, which involved writing a story 'from scratch' based on a character discovering something on a beach setting of their choice.....

- Year 5 working with tables and charts, including timetables

- Year 6 have been competing SAT's practise to discover the areas that need to be strengthened with regards to numeracy, grammar and reading comprehension.

- a 2 day Geographical investigation into maps and grid references, looking at Maidstone in the Victorian times and present-day to identify similarities and differences.

Hope everyone has a wonderful break, see you all next Tuesday week!! (2nd November 2021)

Regards

Mr Ramsden and Mrs Morris
