The end of another week is now upon us, and as ever myself and Mrs Morris have been impressed by the learning achieved by the children in Cherry Class.
We are now over halfway through our text 'Kensuke's Kingdom' and the class wrote descriptively this week to describe both characters and settings on the island. We have also researched the end of the second world war and the dropping of two atomic bombs on Japan in 1945.
In Numeracy, both years groups have been investigating negative numbers and in science the children looked at classifying animals.
Yesterday we had a very enjoyable PE session (football) with some particularly fun 'warm up' activities!
Please don't forget there is a cake sale after school on the playground in support of McMillan Cancer Support
Have a lovely weekend everyone
Mr Ramsden and Mrs Morris
P.S. Home learning will be assigned to Teams today - if you have any problems logging on, please let me know
