Week ending Friday 29th January 2020

So, the end of the fourth week of Term 3 Lockdown is now upon us!

Mr Bowles and I have been pleased that more children than ever this week have logged on to our four video calls each day and have sent their learning in also.

We have really enjoyed reading out the chapters to 'Demon Headmaster' daily to you and listening and reading your comprehension responses. He really is a most unpleasant Headmaster! How will it all end? Find out next week!!!

Year 5 have shown resilience with their equivalent and improper fractions learning and I know Mrs Ord and Mrs Rackley have been impressed by the learning Year 6 have achieved in algebra.

We have learnt about the concept of 'karma' and how it relates to Hinduism and had an excellent late-week discussion linked to well-being.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday continue to be 'Joe Wicks' days and I know some of you log on religiously and enjoy his workouts.

Well done again for all your efforts this week, enjoy your weekends everyone and stay safe.
