Well, what an amazing week we have had! I am so proud of the dedication and commitment of all the pupils and parents in Holly Class to try and keep our learning as routine as possible in a very strange and unusual time.
I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone at home for all your hard work and for sending me such lovely pieces of learning :) I really can't wait to welcome you all back into the classroom on Monday!
The biggest thing to recap on is World Book Day! You all did so amazingly with your learning and we had some brilliant discussions around the story. We drew our own doorways and thought about where we would go if we could based on our focus text 'Journey'. We have also continued to look at conjunctions and punctuation in preparation for coming back to school!
Year 1 Maths
You have been so busy looking at length and height this week! You are superstar learners and have compared height and length using mathematical language such as longer, shorter and taller! Amazing learners :)
Year 2 Maths
A huge well done to the Year 2 learners! You have finished off your unit on length, been fantastic problem solvers and completed your own investigation proving 'the taller you are, the longer your feet are'. Amazing learning!
I am looking forward to being back together on Monday :) Remember to bring in a water bottle filled with water as we sent our water bottles home before Christmas.
Our P.E day has also changed to Tuesdays! Please make sure you come to school dressed for P.E. on Tuesday this term :)
