A huge well done to all the amazing children in Holly Class for settling so well in a new class and year group! We are already beginning to learn our new routines and Ms Stokes and I have been so impressed with the amount of reading records we have seen this week :) It is lovely to see so many children excited about their reading so keep up the amazing job at home!
This week in class we have been focusing on our number knowledge in maths, our handwriting and sounds in literacy and spending a lot of time discussing emotions and our wellbeing to ensure that everyone feels safe and happy to be back at school. Holly Class have been so resilient and we cannot wait to see them grow and learn this year :)
We ended the week with a nature walk through the field looking for signs of the seasonal change. We were very lucky to see the remains of some hatched insect eggs on a leaf that had fallen from a tree and learned all about how clouds are formed!
We hope you have enjoyed your first week back at school as much as we have and we are looking forward to more amazing learning taking place next week. Remember to come to school in your P.E. kits on Monday and have a lovely, restful weekend.
