Hello Everyone!
Wow! What a busy week we've had! Take a look at our fabulous photos to see how much learning we have done!
In Maths this week, we have been using the scales to measure and compare weight. We then applied these skills to reason and problem solve!
In Literacy, we have been reading about the Owl Who Was Afraid Of The Dark, sequencing the story and using adjectives to describe real owls! (AMAZING WRITING IVY CLASS, WELL DONE!) We also had an author visit (on zoom) and she very kindly read to us and shared her new book.
Marvellous Minibeasts!
RED RED RED!
Our Red Ivies!
We also got exploring in the afternoons; we learnt about habitats, micro habitats AND went to observe and investigate the outdoor environment!
We had our PE coach teaching us all about throwing and catching on Tuesday.
Of course we can't forget about today; it's Red Nose Day! All of our Ivies made a fantastic effort to wear something red and raise money for charity! In the morning, we were sooo excited about our outfits, we decided to have a fashion show! Great poses and twirls! :)
Sleepy Snail!
Fabulous effort!

Curious about Microhabitats!
Well done for all your hard work this week Ivies! I cannot wait to see what next week has in store for us!
Few Reminders:
Have a fabulous weekend!!
