WOW, how amazing is Ivy class! We have all settled in so well and have had such a fun-filled week. We have done incredibly well to get used to the new school rules that keep us safe, make friends and look after each other.

In Maths, we have been focusing on our numbers 0-20; we have counted, found amounts, written our numbers, ordered numbers and even practiced using a ruler!

In our writing, we have focused on recognising capital letters and full stops, identifying words with specific graphemes, unscrambling sentences and using our imagination to write a short story. Such a creative bunch!

In the afternoons, we have been sharing stories, reading, talking about our worries about coming back to school and what we can do to help each other, played games and created a kindness tree for our class. We even did a science experiment to make a rain-cloud in a jar… a little messy!

Needless to say we have had so much fun - Mrs Healey and I are super proud of Ivy class! They have done super-duper after all this time off school.

I cannot wait to see what next week will bring! Please remember PE on Monday therefore your child will need to come dressed in the PE Kits.

Have a fab weekend everyone!:)
