HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!
With the end of term creeping up fast, Ivy Class has kept motivated! WELL DONE IVY CLASS! :)
So what did we do this week?
In Literacy we have continued to work on our sentence structure and applying our phonics to help us to spell words. We also SAW DINOSAURS IN THE SCHOOL! We checked around for clues (they have made a big mess) and wrote about what we saw.
In Maths, we have been busy doing numbers bonds to 10 and 20 as well as learning to add one and two digit numbers! Our Marvelous Mathematicians have worked so hard to find the total of sums.
In PE, we practiced our running and jumping, catching and throwing and a bit of control using the hockey sticks. We have made so much progress; Mrs Healey and I are super proud!
In RE, we had our focus on kindness once more; we made some awesome acrostic poems using KIND as the vertical word. We are really getting the hang of being kind; great work :)
In topic, we dived back into the Victorian era; we identified who Florence Nightingale was and how her actions had a huge impact on hospital care nowadays. It was super interesting and the children were very engaged!
Last but not least, Science; we investigated what would happen if two droplets of water joined together. We predicted, experimented, observed and recorded our results - It's hard work being a super scientist.
Have a wonderful weekend all; can't wait to see what next week has in store for us :)
