IT'S FRIDAY! What an AMAZING first week back Ivy Class have had! I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing all your smiley faces again! We have done a lot of chatting, laughing, moving, writing, counting, jumping, making, drawing AND SO MUCH MORE! :)
So what have we been doing?
This week in Literacy, we have continued to look at writing our own information texts on our favourite animals. We completed these this week and worked so hard on our handwriting and reading! In the afternoons, we have also continued to look at our World Book Day story 'Journey' and created some fantastic pieces of 3D artwork and produced some outstanding pieces of writing around the book! Fabulous! In Maths, we have continued to look at measuring in the classroom and have successfully measured different lengths in centimetres. We have even begun to look at problem solving around length and recapped on our knowledge of adding different amounts together. In PE, we had a coach in to teach us all about jumping! I wonder what next week will have in-store for us?
Thank you and a massive well done for all your amazing work this week Ivy Class and I cannot wait to see what we get up to next week!
It would be beneficial if you bought in a pair of wellington boots to school as it is still a little muddy outside.
Ensure you have a water bottle at school with only water inside.
Remember your reading records - these should be in school daily.
Now ENJOY the weekend! See you Monday! :)
