This week Maple have been as busy as ever!
In literacy, we continued reading Marcy and the Riddle of the Sphinx and worked on our sentence structure as well as the use of the possessive apostrophe. On Thursday and Friday, we looked at war poetry and wrote our own, inspired but those that we read.
In maths, Year 3 have been learning about multiplication and different methods to use. Year 4 have been learning about perimeter and how to calculate the perimeter of rectilinear shapes.
In the afternoons, the class have been learning about why the River Nile is so important as well as investigating how different materials reflect light. They've even had time to start to learn to play the ukulele!
We hope you have a restful weekend.
