This week, the children started a new text genre in literacy with a focus on non-chronological reports. They have been identifying the features of one and looking at how they are organised and structured. They have also done some research to help them with the content for their own piece of writing.
In maths, both Year 3 and Year 4 have been working on their multiplying and dividing skills and have learnt how to use times tables that they know to support with trickier ones.
In topic, Maple Class have learnt all about mummification and canopic jars and have continued their learning in science. This week's focus was: observing patterns in length of shadows.
Although we only have two weeks left of this term, we still have a lot of learning to do so make sure you have a restful weekend!
