This week, Oak Class have been making the most out of autumn and we have been frequently going on the school field for afternoon play to enjoy the weather and have some fun with the fallen leaves.
In class we have continued to learn how to subtract using a written method and some of us have been challenging ourselves by using the inverse operation to check our calculations.
Literacy has been very interesting this week. We have been learning about the Tower of London and have written information texts including facts about the Tower. Did you know that the Tower of London has been used for many different reasons over history including a royal residence, prison and now a museum?
In Science we have investigated the physical properties of materials. We investigated whether a material was hard, flexible, stretchy or waterproof. The children thoroughly enjoyed this and can now differentiate between an object and a material.
