This week has proven even further that Oak Class are a group of amazing, hard-working superstars. It may not have been the kind of start to a new term we had envisioned, however we have not let it get in the way of our learning. We had a few bumpy starts with using this new technology (mainly Miss Muddassir), but by the end of the week we have got a better understanding of how to complete our learning remotely.
We have been reviewing expanded noun phrases, punctuation and our editing skills in Literacy. The non-essential shops may have closed, but the children have been setting up their own shops in their homes and practising adding money and calculating change. We even role-played having a January sale!
We have finished each day with Story time and on Friday the children were sent on a scavenger hunt where they had to find something to put on their heads in 3 minutes - the results were hilarious and were the laugh we needed to end the week.
I am so proud of Oak Class. Keep up the amazing learning!
Miss Muddassir :-)
Now we know where superheroes buy their costumes from!
