Introduction to Rowan

Hi everyone and a big warm welcome to Rowan Class.

Getting back into school after a long summer holiday looks a little bit different than it did the last time we were here. But no need to worry, we've got all of the necessary measures in place to keep us all safe, do lots of amazing learning and have fun.

Mr Askew will be teaching and Mrs Morris will be supporting in Rowan Class and we're both very much looking forward to getting to know and working with all children in the class.

A few bits of information:

  • Home reading books will go home every day and should be brought back into school every day. Please try to listen to your child read every evening and remember to sign the reading record.
  • Home learning will be set every Friday and is due for return by the following Thursday at the latest. We are looking to set the majority of home learning online but this will be specified each week.
  • PE for Term 1 will take place on Tuesday afternoon. On Tuesday's your child will need to come to school wearing their school PE kit as getting changed at school is not possible in the current climate.
  • As mentioned, all of the measures are in place to keep us all safe but if you're unsure about anything then please ask.

We look forward to an exciting, productive and fun-filled school year.

Kind regards,

Mr Askew and Mrs Morris
