We've had a wonderful final week of term in Rowan Class.
In Literacy, we've completed 'The Mystery of Roanoke' on Fiction Express (remember you've all got logins for this). We've described characters, described settings, made predictions and created atmosphere by using powerful language. Some really lovely writing has come out of this so well done to everyone.
Our Year 5's have been learning about line-graphs through statistics. This has included interpreting data, answering questions about the data and creating their own line-graphs. Really excellent work.
Our Year 6's have had a practice SATS week. A hard week but it's clear to see the amazing progress that they've made in just the first term alone. A really good effort from all.
In Science the children completed their personal scientific enquiries by carrying out the enquiry, displaying their data and drawing conclusions from it. In this subject especially children have shown great improvement and knowledge in scientific enquiries.
Enjoy your week off. See you in Term 2.
