Another brilliant week of online learning from Rowan Class. Again, the numbers are still going up so well done to all of you for logging on and completing such amazing learning.
In Literacy, we've finished off our story 'The Demon Headmaster'. While reading this the children have completed lots of comprehension questions as well as writing tasks that required them to think deeply about each of the main characters as well as making predictions.
In Maths, our Year 5's have been learning about improper fractions and whole number fractions as well as completing an arithmetic test. Our Year 6's have continued to learn about algebra looking mainly at balancing equations as well as completing an arithmetic test also.
In topic the children have continued to learn about items around the home with electrical moving parts. Next week we'll be making our toys with the junk modelling items we've been collecting for the last couple of weeks.
We've also continued our learning about Hinduism and created a poster/information leaflet/PowerPoint about our healthy eating learning throughout the term.
Hope you all have a good weekend. See you next week for the last week of Term 3.
