Another week of amazing learning in Walnut Class.
In Literacy children read and created their own volcano shaped poems. They were excited to share it with the rest of the class.
In maths, Year 4 continued to focus on times tables whilst Year 3 learned about the value of money and how to add and subtract money, using a written method.
In Science, we carried out some interesting and exciting experiments. We used water, coke and vinegar to pour over rocks to find out which were soft and which were hard rocks. We've also investigated and researched how fossils are formed.
During our Topic learning, we could choose a volcanic island to research and created a fact-file about it, which was really interesting and a great learning experience.
We ended this week with an amazing Ukulele performance, which we recorded.
Have a lovely and blessed weekend.
Mrs Jacobs, Mrs Dowdall and Ms Burbage.
