Another week of amazing learning!
Our newly appointed TA to Walnut Class is Ms Rackley. We gave her a warm welcome and trust that she will enjoy being part of our class.
During Literacy we continued to identify the different features of newspaper reports. We focused on how to create introductions and conclusions for newspaper reports, as well as how to create sub-headings.
We had amazing learning outcomes.
In Maths, Year 3s completed our learning about MASS/WEIGHT and then focused on how to measure capacity. Year 4s continued their learning focusing on fractions.
For our Topic learning we focused on how the Roman invasion changed Britain.
Our Science experiment was fun for us! We explored the idea that all solids, when heated, melt then flow. Rock is just the same; it flows as lava. But all liquids do not flow at the same speed.
We used honey and washing-up liquid to investigate that. We couldn't resist the temptation of having a little finger lick at the honey. We created a bar chart to show our results for our experiment.
Have a good weekend. We hope it won't be too cold.
Mrs Jacobs and Ms Rackley.
