Historical Sports Premium Spending
In the Academic Year 2015 - 2016, the sports premium grant was £9282. This money was used to:
- provide specialist sports coaching across the school via J & C Academy and Progressive Sports
- participate in healthy lifestyles initiatives e.g Walk on Wednesday
- provide Judo taster sessions
- purchase additional PE resources to allow participation in a wider range of sports
The school received £8971 sports premium grant in the year 2014 - 2015. The funding was used to provide:
- provide specialist sports coaching across the school
- run after school clubs e.g. football, archery
- promote healthy life styles through the Change4Life initiative
- work with other local primary and secondary schools to engage more children in a wider range of sporting activities
- work with the local leisure centre and YMCA to enable children to try new sports
The school received £8690 sports premium grant in the year 2013 - 2014.
