In our Literacy this week we have been planning our adventure stories ready for our Hot Write next week. We have looked at how to create settings and characters, and story mountains in order to plot out our own stories inspired by Robinson Crusoe. We had a competition to describe a character and created AI generated versions to determine our class character. The winner was Daisy with her character Izabelle. 

In Maths Year 4 have been looking at rounding to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000. Year 3 have been looking at adding and subtracting ones, tens and hundreds. 

In Geography we looked at the physical and human geography of the Galapagos islands and the variety of animals that live there. In Music we looked at how we can keep a beat in music and applied this to our knowledge of musical notes. In Art, we looked at more of Damien Hirst's art work and created our own spiral paint pieces.
