Term 1 Week 5

This week in Literacy we have been looking at news reports and planning a script to record our own news reports. We used iMovie to film our reports about the discovery of the Lascaux 

In Maths Year 4 have been looking at rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000. Year 3 have been looking at adding and subtracting tens and ones to three digit numbers. 

In History we learned about the Stone Age village of Skara Brae and the homes that were found there. We created brochures explaining what the artefacts told us about how they lived. In Art we used our skills of sketching and chalk pastels to create our own designs inspired by cave art.
