Our first week at school

Welcome Apple and Pears.

This week we are working on settling the children in, getting to know our environment, peers and adults. We have spent time in our outdoor provision and played some class games. 

Here are just a few helpful tips for starting the new year at school: 

- Bring your child's book bag in daily with their reading record and reading book. (This will be given to you at your home visit) 

- Please bring in spare clothing to be kept in your child's book bag if they are needed. 

- Attend in full school uniform with suitable footwear and suitable weather clothing. E.g. coat. 

- No hooped earring please. Also remove all earrings on Mondays for PE sessions. 

- Please return your PE kit for Monday 15th. This will be kept at school for the term. 

- Please supply your child with a water bottle which stays in school, if pack lunch your child can bring their own drink. 

It has been lovely to get to know all of the children and seeing them settle into school so well. We look forward to seeing you at your home visit appointment.
