Term 2, Week 5

This week we have been busy looking at instructions, why they are important and why we should follow them in the correct order. We applied our knowledge around this to making our own salt dough decorations. Firstly we made the dough, cooked them in the oven and are very excited to decorate them next week, ready to go on our class Christmas Tree.  

In Maths we have been learning one more and one less. We used a ten frames to make different numbers and then identified one more or less. We enjoyed singing five current buns to support our one less learning. 

In PHSE we have been learning about ourselves and how it is ok to be different to our friends and others. We then looked at sharing and discussed how we share and how that makes us feel. 

On Thursday we had a great fun afternoon with the parents who come in to join some festive activities and create some decorations for our Class Christmas tree, ready for the festive season on Monday! Thank you to all those parents that joined us and to all parents for their continued support.
