Another week of great learning in Maple Class.
In literacy, we have continued our learning about Blue John and explored how we could use the story to recognise the difference between fact and opinion.
In numeracy, Year 4 have been using related facts for multiplication whilst Year 3 have been learning about multiplying by 10 and 100.
We have been very fortunate today, to have had a visit from Matthew, from Kent Wildlife Trust, to run a workshop about rocks. The children were able to gain hands-on experience of a range of rock types whilst learning about how they were formed, identifying the type of rock they are and where they could be found. They had such a great time and Matthew was very impressed with their behaviour and knowledge – well done Maple Class, I am very proud of you!
Have a great weekend everyone!
See you Monday.
