Week ending 31st October 2025

Welcome back to Term 2.

In literacy, we have started our new text of Marcy and the Riddle of the Spinx by Joe Todd Stanton as this links with our topic of Temples, Tombs and Treasures.

In Maths, Year 3 have been subtracting a two digit number across 100 whilst Year 4 have started to learn about area of rectilinear shapes.

In PE this term we will be concentrating on gymnastics and have began this by learning a tuck jump, star jump and a straight jump.

Quick reminder that we will be back to swimming on Monday 3^rd November.  If you are collecting your child from the pool, please do not arrive before 2.50 to allow the children to begin to get changed.
