Week ending 5th December 2025

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Maple Class as Timmy the Elf has appeared!

In literacy this week, the children have completed their independent writing of an adventure story based on our class text of Marcy and the Riddle of the Sphinx by Joe Todd Stanton.  They have worked really hard to ensure that they have included some of the literary devices that we have learnt this term.

In numeracy, both year groups have been working hard on their multiplication and division facts.  Today we learnt about writing numbers like the Egyptians and then applied this to calculate word problems.

Next Monday (8^th December 2025) will be our last swimming session.  A huge thank you to all the adults that accompany us every week, your support means a great deal.
