Week ending 9th January 2026

Welcome back and a Happy New Year to you all.  I hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable break.

We are already back into our timetable and have started our literacy with a new class text called Blue John written by Berlie Doherty.  The children are really enjoying listening to all the detail and description.

In maths, Year 4 are learning strategies to support multiplication by 10 and 100 whilst Year 3 are learning about multiples of 10.

Please note that our swimming will commence again on Monday 12^th January.  Our PE day remains on a Wednesday.

Next Friday (16^th January), we are lucky to have a visit from the Kent Wildlife Trust to run a workshop about rocks and fossils.  You will have received notification regarding this.
