Week ending 13.3.26

This week our classroom has been filled with exciting activities! We kicked off our baking adventure by making delicious hot cross buns, which not only filled our tummies but also taught us about measurements and following instructions.

On Wednesday, children engaged with a talk about fire safety from Jo from Kent Fire and Rescue. They learnt to dial 999 in an emergency and what an emergency might look like. In English, we explored the fun world of rhyming words, discovering how they can make our writing more playful and engaging. Our Maths lessons were equally thrilling as we tackled division, including the tricky concept of remainders—everyone did a fantastic job.

For a creative twist, we designed and crafted inventive Mother’s Day cards, pouring our love and creativity into each one. During PE, we worked on a variety of jumping skills, which was a great way to stay active and have fun together.

Finally, we took a virtual trip around the globe, identifying famous landmarks using Google Earth. It was amazing to see where these iconic sites are located. What a week of learning and laughter.

Happy Mother's Day for Sunday mums - I hope the children remember to spoil you!
