In Art, children made some lovely prints using the tile print they made last week. Children used polystyrene to make a picture using a pencil, making indentations in the polystyrene. They then rolled paint over and printed onto paper.
In English, children wrote a formal letter to Florence Nightingale thanking her for the difference she made to the soldiers in hospitals and how she paved the way for modern nursing.
Next week, Oak Class will be investigating another world pioneer; the first man on the moon!
