What an incredible term of learning, laughter, and achievement it has been! As we reach the end of Term 4, everyone is more than ready for a well-deserved break πŸ˜„πŸŒΈ

We’ve been busy polishing our Grammar and Punctuation skills, helping to strengthen our writing and revisiting key areas as part of our Year 6 SATs retrieval practice πŸ–ŠοΈβœ…

πŸ”’ Maths

  • Year 6 explored angles in triangles, learning that they always total 180Β° πŸ“
  • Year 5 focused on statistics, developing their skills in reading tables and charts πŸ“Š

πŸ’» Computing
We turned into travel agents for the day ✈️🌍, using our database skills to search for flights and holidaysβ€”lots of excitement and excellent computing skills on display!

πŸ”¬ Science
We completed our fascinating β€˜Out of Africa’ topic by examining fossils and learning about the incredible work of Charles Darwin and Mary Anning 🦴🧬

⚽ PE
Easter-themed team games kept us active and smiling πŸ˜ŠπŸ£β€”plenty of new games and lots of racing hearts!

Spanish
We’ve now finished learning all about datesβ€”Β‘muy bien, everyone!

🎢 Music
Using percussion instruments, we worked hard to keep to a steady beat. This topic has been a real favourite, and the enthusiasm has been fantastic πŸ₯πŸŽ΅

  • Jewellery – Only stud earrings may be worn. Earrings should not be worn on PE days. Watches are allowed; however, smart watches must be handed in each morning with mobile phones. No necklaces or rings, please.
    β€’ PE Kits – Please ensure your child is wearing the correct PE kit as outlined in our school policy.
    β€’ PE Days – PE will continue on Tuesdays and Fridays next term, focusing on Outdoor Adventurous Activities (OAA) and Cricket 🏏
    β€’ 🚫 No chewing gum in school, please.
    β€’ πŸ“… End of Term – We break up for the Easter holidays on Thursday 2nd April and return on Monday 20th April 2026.
