Week ending 11th September 2026

We have now completed our first full week back at school and the children are settling in well. 

In literacy this week, we have been learning about homophones and recapping the use of sound buttons to support the spelling of these.

In numeracy, both Years 3 and 4 have met their teachers and have started their learning on place value. 

The children have chosen a reading book to bring home together with their reading record.  Please ensure that your child is reading at home every day and that this is logged into their reading record.  Reading records need to be in school every day as they also have their passwords for TTRS and Edshed.  Please do encourage your child to access these outside of school.

Our PE days are Monday and Wednesday.  Children should come to school wearing their PE kits.
