Term 1 week 8

A busy last week of term in Ivy Class. Thank you to all parents who came in for parents' evening and to look at your children's learning.

In maths, children learnt that 5 + 6 is the same as double 5 plus 1 and used their knowledge of doubling to find near doubles. In history, children learnt the history of the airplane and The Wright Brothers' involvement in particular. In RE children continued looking at how people can be kind to each other and in PE we finished our series of dance lessons based on Alice in Wonderland.

Well done to Joe, Nala, Matilda, Anna-Mae, Mason and Joweria for winning the fabulous pot this week.

PE next term will be on Wednesdays.

Thank you for your support this term - have a lovely week 's holiday and see you on Tuesday 3rd November.
