Term 1 Week 7

Apples and Pears have completed some amazing learning this week re-telling the story 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt'.  We focused on re-telling the story using actions and went on our very own bear hunt on our school field. We have grass, mud, water and a snowstorm forest to make our way through. We were super brave when we got to the cave and there was a bear!  

In Maths we have looked at patterns this week. The children enjoyed making patterns using themselves, for example, girl, boy, girl or jumper, t-shirt, jumper. They also used the cubes to make repeating patterns using two colours. 

In PE the children's listening skills have improved massively and they are learning to play games well with each other. We are also focusing on getting ourselves dressed, so please keep practicing this at home.
