Walnut Class Term 6 Week 1

What a really good start to our first week of Term 6. The children were very enthusiastic about their learning and have produced quality pieces of learning.

In Literacy this week we have created biographies for Tom Daley. We have also looked into how to use pronouns and apostrophes for possession.

During our Maths sessions we've been learning about angles in shapes, turns and directions.

We have started our topic for this term 'Success with Silver' with our knowledge harvest, discussing civilisations.

During our Geography lesson , we used atlases to locate Ancient and Modern Greece. We then compared the average temperature and rainfall of the UK and Greece during July and December times. We thoroughly enjoyed all the activities.

On the 17th June, Walnut Class have their fun wall session at The Climbing Experience.  Children can be picked up from there, promptly at 2:30pm on the Friday afternoon. Children need to come to school in their PE kit on this day.

Walnut class will have PE every Monday afternoon this term. They need to come to school in their PE kit on this day, without any jewellery.

Enjoy a lovely weekend.
