Family Learning

Over the last few years, we have hosted a wide range of free courses for parents / carers and children to take part in together.  These courses are run by Kent Adult Education and take place in school, either during or just after the school day.  They have proved to be very popular, with lots of feedback from parents and carers saying that the courses have been fun and relaxed as well as informative and a great way to get to know others better.

Some of the courses we have offered, for parents and carers, are:

  • Keeping up with the Children in Maths
  • My Family Scrapbook
  • English for speakers of other languages
  • Managing Children's Behaviour
  • Stepping up to Primary
  • Stepping up to Secondary

We also hold workshops for children and adults to attend together, including:

  • Kite Making
  • Bug Hunt

If you have any suggestions of courses that you would be interested in, please let us know and we will do our best to set them up.
