Another week has flown by. This week we have continued to be busy with our learning.
In Literacy, we finished our Instructions based on 'How to survive on a deserted island . Then we completed our hot write. The children have come up with great ideas and created some great instructions.
In Maths, Year 4 have been learning to add and subtract up to 4 digits using a formal written methods and solving multi step problems within a real-life context. Year 3 have been learning how to use column addition for their calculations.
In Topic learning this week, we have created very impressive PowerPoints of 'How to survive on a deserted Island. The children were so excited and eager to present their amazing learning to the rest of the class.
In P.E. we have completed our personal challenges of football dribble and most of us improved our first scores. There are still some children coming into school in their own P.E. style clothes. Please wear black joggers/shorts/leggings, their plain team colour T shirt and their school jumper/cardigan.
A friendly reminder about the parent meetings next week. Remember to login for your appointments on your given slots. Each parent has a 10 minute slot.
Have a lovely weekend
