Term 4, Week 5
This week we have been learning about the Easter story, why Easter is an important celebration and why we celebrate it. The children were very good at sequencing the story using pictures.
In Maths we have been looking at 3D shapes and patterns. The children were great at creating their own patterns such a clap, stomp, clap and the class would follow. We identified real life 3D shapes around the classroom such as a cube is a box, a cuboid is a cupboard.
The children were very arty this week and created some lovely Easter cards. We used cotton pads to create an Easter bunny. They all wrote their inserts to their special family members.
We have been busy practising our class assembly. The children were amazing today and remembered their lines and were very confident. Thank you for all those who came to support!
