Term 2, Week 4

This week Apples and Pears have been amazing with their behaviour. They have enjoyed our story book ‘Whatever next’. The children discussed what they wanted to take to space and this has extended their learning into next week to look at the moon, space and aliens.

The children had a big interest in making rockets so we went on a junk modelling hunt to find different boxes, bottles and material for the children to make their space rockets. They came up with some great ideas!

In Maths we have been looking at shapes and the difference between squares and rectangles. The children used their shape language to name and describe the shapes.

The children have been working hard to learn their lines, songs and dances for the Christmas play. We can’t wait for you to come and see it. Also they are working hard on practicing their class assembly which is on Friday 1^st December. Hope to see you all there!
