Term 2 Week 3

This week we have been looking at The Jolly Christmas Postman, the children have enjoyed reading about the characters and what letters they received from the postman.  We talked about the different things we get through the post.  We started to look at the beginning, middle and the end of a story and through a story map, the children could see these features.

In maths, we looked at shapes, looking at circles and triangles. We identified and named the shapes, we compared them and looked at these shapes in the environment.  We also looked at describing positions of objects.

In PE, we have been moving like different animals; this week we looked at the hippo and did a hippo dance; we rolled in the mud, reached for food and then sunbathed like a hippo.
