This week Apples and Pears have been busy with their learning. We have been looking at spring and how our surroundings are changing due to us entering our new season. We have spoken about what and how a plant grows and spent time in the spring sunshine, getting our digging area ready to grow own very own plants.
In Maths we have spent this week on looking at part-part whole. For example 6 and 4 makes 10. We played number bingo to support us recognising our numbers to 10 and counting how many spots the ladybird had to see if we had that number on our board. It was great fun! Lastly we looked at one less and made a cube tower to take one away each time a flying sauce flew away.
In PHSE we have been playing pass the whisper and practicing how quiet we can be. We have enjoyed also learning about all of the different seasons and focused on what happens in each one.
In PE we have been continuing with our tennis skills. Please ensure you child's PE kit is in school and no earrings are to be wore on Tuesdays. Thank you for your continued support.
Have a lovely weekend,
The EYFS Team.
