Apple and Pears have had a busy last week. We have made lots of arts and crafts for Easter. The children spent time making Easter pictures using their finger prints to represent a chick and a bunny. They also used their sounds to write Happy Easter. We colour wooden eggs and were amazing at staying in the lines.
We have enjoyed spending our learning time out in the sun, practicing riding bikes with stabilise. We have read books and shown great teamwork putting together different puzzles.
In Maths we have learnt about patterns. We have looked at making repeating patterns using our hands, feet, or body parts. For example, head, clap, head, clap. We then created our patterns using cubes or teddy bears. We also looked at creating circular patterns around a hoop.
In the first week back, we are covering festivals in PHSE. Please could you bring in a photo of your child celebrating a festival that is important to them or you as a family. For example, birthday, Christmas, Diwali.
Please can you make sure you return our farm school trip by the first week back on Scopay.
Thank you for your continued support this term. We hope you all have an amazing Easter break and will see you all on the 22nd April.
Thank you,
The EYFS Team.
