Term 1 Week 5 04/10/24

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to our latest Cherry Class blog!

I'll start off with a massive thank you to all the children for their efforts in our class assembly this morning. It was heavily history-based, and a special thank you to the children who dressed up as Queen Victoria, her husband Prince Albert, Pharaoh Tutankhamun and our World War II spiv!  The children read clearly, remembered their lines and when to actually speak. The assembly was very well attended by parents and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.  We put a lot of time and effort into practicing and the children were very pleased with the outcome, as were their friends in other classes. We will next do an assembly like this at the end of January 2025 and I have told the children that if any of them want more of a speaking / acting role in our next assembly, we will make it happen!
