This week in our Literacy lessons we have been looking at the story of the Matchbook diary. This tells the story of an elderly man who travelled to America from Italy and has kept small mementos in match boxes which remind him of his life. We wrote diary entries for his life stories and then made our own match boxes and brought in items which tell stories about our lives.
In Maths Year 4 have been looking at finding equivalent fractions and placing them on a number line. Year 3 have been looking at ordering and comparing unit fractions.
In Geography we looked at supply chains and sequenced the supply chains for a range of common products. In Art we looked at murals and practiced using communication to try and make a picture with different children drawing different parts. In Computing we looked at how networks link together and the different parts of network systems.
We hope you have a lovely weekend,
Mr Saunders and Mrs Mallon.
