This week in our Literacy we have been completing our hot writes based on George's Marvellous Medicine. The children have blown us away with their incredible ideas and characterisations and created some truly nasty relatives to get revenge on in their stories. We know many parents enjoyed reading them at parents' evening.

In Maths Year 4 have been consolidating their learning on decimals by using our learning from the term to answer and write problem solving questions. Year 3 have finished their learning on capacity by looking at reading and interpreting scales.

In our Geography learning we looked at fair trade and how the money made from the sale of bananas is distributed along the supply chain. We debated whether is was fair that workers who worked the longest hours in the riskiest jobs got paid the least amount of money. In our Music we extended our understanding of musical notes to include flats and sharps and used Garage band to play some simple tunes using these notes. In our Science learning we enjoyed the beautiful Spring weather and used natural resources to demonstrate what we have learnt this term about states of matter.

We hope you have a lovely Easter break and look forward to seeing you all back on Tuesday 22nd April.
